Broad Experience as a Music Educator and Performer
  • 35 years of Suzuki Method teaching experience.

  • Trained by and registered with Suzuki Association of the Americas.

  • 15 years experience as public school music teacher. Taught band, chorus, and general music classes. Active in Maine chapter of National Association for Music Educators.

  • 35 years of concertmaster experience with community orchestras in Washington, DC, area (The McLean Orchestra) and midcoast Maine (Midcoast Symphony Orchestra). Also member of Maine Pro Musica (professional orchestra in midcoast Maine).

  • Master of Arts (Violin) from University of Iowa, Bachelor of Music (Violin Performance) from Concordia College, Moorhead, MN.

  • Former president, board member, and newsletter editor for Suzuki Association of the Greater Washington (DC) Area, which had membership of about 700 teachers and families.

  • Chair, Maine Suzuki Association.
